I don't know how many times I've looked at this picture...and never noticed the zoas in the background. I have a handful of dive pictures that rotate through every 15 minutes as my computer background screen. When I was working from home for 2 years and just had my laptop, I never really got to see my background screen since I always had some application going...hiding the background. Now that I'm back at the physical office, I'm back to dual screens. I was on a telecon last week and glanced over at the 2nd screen and saw this picture, and said, wait a minute, are those freakin zoas??

So I went back through my other dive pics from the Bora Bora trip and found this picture. TOTALLY forgot that I had this picture!!

What I wouldn't give to see what these zoas would like under blue LEDs! I will also have to admit that the diving in Bora Bora was quite terrible. Truth be told I wasn't there for the diving but I took my gear anyway to sneak in a few dives. I will say that snorkeling with the reef sharks was pretty amazing though!!

Yes aren't those sharks amazing. I once saw a shark like that for sale. Without the black. He only wanted a thousand for it but wanted to see my tank first. I would have to obviously get a much larger tank but sure thought about it. There were too many obsticals to overcome which made it too tough to do.

I was there for a honeymoon. But not mine! After some dear friends got married and spent 5 days in Bora Bora for their honeymoon they invited some of their friends to come join them for a week. So we did!! One of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
