Wish I had a real update, but plumbing should be done today!More photo's - more photo's please...
Cant wait to see the progress.
I've seen them before and heard good things so I have high hopes. The footprint is just right for what I'm doing and still handles 500g so figured I'd give it a shot.aquavitro division skimmer - i was debating about getting that for my frag set up. let us know how it does
Hurry it up.. pics
A bit behind after issues with plumbing parts. It's almost done, but probably not finished until Monday. I'll get some pics of what I have here soon. Finished building shelving and other parts for the fish systems at least yesterday at least. Just need to paint!I don't like this build at all. It's too clean, like a dream. Have a dog poop on the floor, at least for a moment, please!
Gorgeous progress!

Should be interesting to plumb but here's the sump. Leviathan Hi-flow Reef Sump LR60 by Acrylic Habitats. Has two inputs, tradition input with the silencer/heater chamber and one on the opposite end that goes right into the refugium and overflows into the return chamber.
"New High-Flo Design: An innovative design that allows high capacity and a high flow rate in a small footprint. This dual input system allows you to divert some of the water (we recommend 20%) from one input directly to the refugium chamber on the opposite side of the chamber (plumbing and valves included). This innovation allows you to utilize the refugium chamber to its fullest capacity (2x greater). The refugium capacity is twice that of most linear sump designs. This design utilizes more input bulk heads and larger sock capacity to accommodate the higher flow rates. On average these filters can support an aquarium 50% larger than its given footprint."
If nothing else this thing is solid! The manufacturer has videos of him jumping up and down on the things lol.
I'll put in a fleece roller at some point. Want a ReefMat but they are basically impossible to get still. Until then I'll just use filter cups in place of socks. I cut foam to fit the cup and line the top with fleece and it works pretty well. I do this on my other tanks and I just have to replace the fleece every three days or so when it clogs the cups start to overflow.I'm liking the sump - this time around I need to add a fleec roller tired of filter socks. So far the platinum trigger sump which includes a fleec roller is my top choice.
Yeah 48x24x10. Custom built few years back and have been sitting in my garage but same size as lowboys. What are the dimensions on these tanks? You say lowboys but they have the Planet Aquarium sticker on them. Are they 48"x24"x10"?
