a couple snails from an lfs should be fine for the algae. hermits will probably just knock stuff over though; i had to remove mine. as for the foxface, i would get it out of there pronto. I wouldn't even keep one of those in my 55 gallon. and in a ten, I wouldn't stock any more than 3 fish, and even that is pushing it a little. just my thoughts.

I've been adding some frags to the nano and it is starting to come together more. It is nice having it in my office so I can take a beak and look over and see it. Very relaxing :) Had waaaay too many snails from an order, so gave away the extras of those to new happy homes. The tank didn't like having so many added at once, but it is doing good again now that they have been removed. I've replaced the HOB carbon filter with a HOB refugium/skimmer combo. So far I haven't started up the skimmer part as it produces too many micro bubbles. However, water is flowing through, so the refugium is good to go. It added about 3 gallons to my tank I believe, and I'm very happy with it so far. Have some some cheato with a small pod population growing inside already.

So far I have some snails, a couple blue legged hermits, cleaner shrimp, and two clowns.

For coral I've started to put together a zoa rock with some different colors, frogspawn, duncan, brain, small orange monti cap, acan, candy cain, purple chalice, and shrooms.

I plan on adding some small SPS frags as well as a clam later on.

I put some red grape and dragon's tongue macros in the display as well, and I love them. Will definitely be doing this later on in my bigger build.

Some pics or it didn't happen:

Not sure if those images work, Picasa doesn't work for me very well sometimes.

Thanks waterguy, and thanks again for the tips on the refugium pump. I'll try out the air pump this week and hope it makes it better.

I'm going to try and find some netting for the return pipe to capture the micro bubbles coming in, even without the skimmer running it has too many. I put a small net over it to test and it seemed to work pretty good, just want to find something a little cleaner looking for long term :)

Thanks jamie! I'm glad you like the rock work, we tried to avoid the over crowded look with the rocks that nanos can get.

I see it. Looking forward to a few months down the road and your tank filling in.
