As you can see I have lost some corals due to just being new and not being informed enough on how to keep the tank stable. Had a bad nutrient spike that killed off all the SPS and then a bacterial infection that affected a lot of the Euphyllia. I guess its just part of the hobby, but I still enjoy every second of it! I think within the coming months I plan on getting myself a full apex system to monitor and test. hope to make it out to some local frag swaps and meet some of you local guys!

Looking very nice! I'm always a fan of excellent craftsmanship, and your stand looks amazing! Come out to the frag swap next weekend and I'll give you a zoa frag of your choice to help put more corals in that sexy beast!

Black Friday sale update! I received a ton of frags within the last two weeks.

But before that I had a huge set back on the tank. one of the return pumps failed on me and leached out some heavy metals. I lost a good amount of LPS. mainly torches and frogspwans... one morning I realized my apex was alerting me of a temp spike. It got up to around 81 from 77 within 10min. after diagnosing the issue I found it to be a pump that was shorting out. I pulled it out and could see exposed copper wiring. I ran cubrisporb for about a month straight to pull out any kind of contaminants that it could have leached out. After that I let the tank come back and its really settling in nicely again. Thankfully I didn't lose to many corals. I now know to just avoid the stock pumps some of these cheaper tank brands provide. I switched up to two Sicce pumps now! And I also setup the power consumption monitoring on apex to alert me as soon as a pump starts pulling more power.

Huge shoutout to @Queen City Corals and The coral farm! They both had great deals and they both exceeded expectations! I was especially impressed with the packaging from The coral farm! I found them through TikTok on one of their live sales!
