i did nothing just tired of fighting with telecheck they made a mistake and typed my drivers license in on a bad check to walmart. then sent it to collections. well walmart says debt isnt mine, telecheck says debt isnt mine yet 1 year later i still get letters from TRS and now an attorney threating to sue me over this debt. im tired of the harrassment and want to sue all 3 parties pants off and build me a nice aquarium with the funds call it walmart or telecheck or something im pissed and tired of fighting with telechecks collectors. i even have a letter from both walmart and from telecheck stating debt isnt mine yet tonight i get the letter from the attorney trying to collect for telecheck. its infuriating.

Im in the same boat also, they are claiming i wrote 2 hot checks to Walmart on the NE side of Houston (one that i have never been to), and the check is comming from a Credit Union that i have never herd of or had an account with. And to this day i still can not write a check at any Walmarts b/c someone used my drivers license. Maybe i need to look into doing that. Did they atleast send you a Affitdavit to fill out.

I had a similar problem a few years ago. They had used my wifes drivers license number and fake bank account number to buy stuff all around Katy. I filed a police report and found out its not a crime against me but a crime against the retailer. It took a while to clear up, and I agree Telecheck is no help.

Ok here is what i did (funny 10 months of arguing didnt get these results.) I complained to the BBB online gave them the reference NUMBER (this and your drivers license NUMBER) nothing else is needed or the driver license NUMBER of the person having the difficulties. told them about my dealings with TELECHECK (the devil) and how i was complete unhappy. got a letter from the BBB with a letter from telecheck fixing the entire issue, plus a phone call, plus an apology letter from TELECHECK (the devil) explaining how i was accidently attached to the other person, and it was now fixed and would no longer be an issue (GOT IT IN WRITING). anyone else has a problem with TELECHECK (the devil) contact me for a direct number of 2 of the big wigs there so you can just jump to the top of the line and hopefully get your problem resolved. GOODLUCK and DEATH TO TELECHECK.
