Who do you think are the best local sources for fish?
Who do you think are the best online sources for fish?

Some of you might have noticed in my restart thread that my tank is ready for fish so I'm interested in your opinions about who the best vendors are. I'm not particularly price conscious, but more interested in quality and the ability to get some of the less common fish.

Thanks for your ideas...

Steve

You might already know, but Global Leader Aquatics is my first choice for local vendors. James keeps the cleanest, most organized shop with the best looking livestock that I have seen. He normally keeps some not so common livestock as well. Not many experiences for online sources, but Live Aquaria and Saltwaterfish.com would be my first options.

Well they have free shipping specials on live aquatics occasionally. Last weekend, an order over 75 bucks got free shipping. Either way, service is top notch and the animals are packed well and very healthy.

I just went to 3 different stores for a Naso Tang, and ended up buying mine at TNT. Fishland was very close to getting more money out of me, though. TNT has a great variety of fish and the ones that I wanted that weren't there, will be there on Thursday. :) The 15% discount (which I always forget to use) and the drawing coming up next month, are nice little "pluses," too. :D

I have ordered from Saltwaterfish twice now and have been very pleased with the price, quality, and health of the fish

I'm surprised there hasnt been more of an endorsement for liveaquaria, but they're unmatched in my opinion (for online sources). Their diver's den is about as choice as it gets in terms of quality of livestock.

Yeah they do have nice stuff, it seems a little high a times. But I guess you get what you pay for.
