When did that happen that used to be just for the member sections and i guess u have to keep paying to keep it cuz my member thing just ran out? Why isnt there a section for not being a member most people dont have money to pay for such things just to post something for sale.

And why cant you post pics in your own threads now without a MOD accepting it? Ever seance marsh changed its been such a pain why even let non members view for sale thread if u have to be a member to post there isnt that what the members for sale area is for?

Well this all started happening because our for sale threads started turning into a craigslist of sorts. Its been this way for at least the last 2 years. The members voted and the majority voted to make it for members only to post but non members can still buy. The sales here on our forum need to be as safe as possible and when you know who the members are you are less likely to get cheated. Every year we have a number of members who are willing to offer discounts on their personal items for sale if the non member buyer gets a membership. Also by volunteering you can get your membership for the next year free.
The fees for membership are 30$ a year, every year. The discounts alone are worth it to most of us... I cant even tell you how much I have saved and gotten from this club being a member.
I am sorry you arent liking the new marsh website. It took some adjusting for us all but I am liking it a great deal.

The requirement for membership is going into its third year now and it was done by supporting member vote. Memberships were handled annually based on calendar year. Starting January First of this year all renewals are tied to your registration date with reminders and subscription services now.

There a number of reasons you're post will get put into moderation, none because you've done something wrong unless a MOD informs you that you have. We've put in a fairly strong anti-spam system to cut down on the spammer bots and unfortunately the tradeoff is some legitimate posts get caught but we have it tuned fairly well now so that is becoming less frequent.
Its true its happened to me on my own threads. lol. But hey I'll trade a very minor annoyance for tons of spam garbage any day of the week.
