Anyone know of some good snorkling and diving spots there?

Hello,

The diving in the pacific around Tamarindo and Ocotal is very good. However the water is pretty cool there and the viz is low. But it is packed w/ huge schools of fish, and lots of manta and sting rays.

I dove there in 2000

If we can get the cash together, we will be staying with a few friends and getting a villa, but I am not sure where exactly. I really want to go, so hopefully I will be getting some graduation money/presents when I graduate in the spring.

You could still go to the laz paz water fall garden right there at the peace gardens.

I also recommend going on the zip line. It is sooooo much fun. Go see Arenal voconao and Tabacon hot springs...... White water rafting is a blast there........
