I will be visiting my brother who works in Jordan and will be making a 2 day mini trip to Aqaba. I was wondering if anyone has been and has some recommendations?
Thanks.

I spent most of my young life in Saudi Arabia and a few years in Yanbu which is on the Red Sea side. That is where I learned to scuba dive. I can't help you with Aqaba, but can tell you that diving in the Red Sea was awesome. Definitely one of the worlds best dive sites!

Sounds good. I will take lots of pics although I don't have a professional underwater camera. Whatever I get I will post.
By the way robrog, I grew up in Saudi for a while too. My dad works for one of the US oil companies and we lived in Riyadh. Never had a chance to go to the west coast. Went fishing in Al Khobar a few times though, good memories...

those little under water disposable cameras arent that bad. I got some good pics when i was diving in cancun. IF your diving a shallow reef and there is alot of light you will get decent pics

Cool SeaBass! My dad worked for Aramco and just retired a few years ago. Lived in Abqaiq mostly, but spent some time in Ras Tanura and Dharan. We went shopping in Al Khobar all the time and went fishing a few times at half moon bay near there.....
