Whats up Marshians.

Just thought id give you the scoop on some issues Im having with Finsreef, Brian Edwards.

I highly suggest you avoid doing business with him.

I paid for the maxspect mazarra's in June, still have nothing in hand but story after story. He sent a tracking #/notification, but it states nothing has ever been received to ship. I’ve called and left voice messages, emails, pm's. Nothing, zip zilch no response.

I was previously warned about dealing with him, but did it anyways, now he's sitting on 1400 bux of my cash, and won’t respond. I’m forced to take legal and criminal actions at this point, larceny/theft/internet fraud since he has terminated communications.

last correspondance with him, he told me to contact his lawyer.

I’m talking to the local legal folks, one of the perks of my job is I get the full extent of legal services provided for free.
Anyone else have problems?

What a turd. I hope your lawyer takes him to the cleaners or at the very least that you get your money back. Maybe try and get your lawyer to get CoralVue to full fill the order.

Bad Transaction

I suspect they can not get the product due to a change in distributors. Usually, in my experience, PayPal have been good about resolving those things though (which I assume you have tried?) I know as seller of a few items on eBay they (PayPal) holds the funds for 21 days, or until the tracking number shows as item delivered. Good luck, it's a shame when vendors do this. At the very least they should promptly refund the money since that was paid in good faith.

That really sucks man.

Unfortunately I think he is out of options as far as paypal is concerned. They have a 45 day limit on things like this. It's fairly common for people to delay this on purpose to get past the refund time limit. From what I have seen on various other issues similar to this, law enforcement rarely steps in. It is almost always advised that the only recourse is civil court. I'm nowhere near a lawyer though...

If you used your main payment source as a credit card you can dispute it that way and get it resolved pretty quickly. PayPal sucks when it comes disputes. I had to go through my cc company with a 600 transaction before

I know from past experiences that Visa and Chase bank on two different accounts had recovered my money. There is a 10-14 day wait but at the end, the money was posted back into my accounts so try to go straight to the source that actually distributed the money to the seller. I have heard many horror stories using PayPal. I do but only on small money transactions.

Good luck and sorry to hear about your experience.
