The salt water section is completely deteriorating. I’m not sure about the new shipment of corals but before the coral selection was poor, few fish, and whatever happened to that large beautiful cube tank…does not look appealing anymore.

I do love to go there just to look at that large tank in the showroom. Love looking at those cichlids. I do buy some dry goods from them when I go there just to support the locals.

they got a lot more colorful coral in, but at their usual River Oaks prices. They still have 3 banks of SW tanks, about 1/2 of what they originally had.

Be careful when you buy fish or live stock here. They do not offer any kind of warranty on their livestocks. A friend bought a fish and it literally died within 20hrs with proper acclimation. His tank is rock stead with thriving sps and a healthy fish populations. The fish died in its own tank plumped to the main system for feeding and acclimation purposes. He called fish gallery and they say fu** off.

This is extremely bad business as I have never have a LFS or even online vendor that offer no sort of compensation for lost stock within this kind of time frame. Hell, even overpriced Aquarium World will give you a 7 days return on date of purchase if you bring them your tank water.

And yes ofcourse the fish was expensive.

I went today and the SPS was looking terrible and the tanks where dirty. I am not that picky either. When I asked about the loss of poylps and the brown bleached look I was told thats the way acropora looks(gimme a break) Obviously the salesman has never been to all about fish. Just a little dissapointed I think that the quality of saltwater has gone down since the move. Just my opinon.
