Well it has finally been readied....
After strolling a gazillion stores I was able at ADG to get some really nice Hawaii Black stone ....ADG had a huge selection I may add of other stoens
We are going for the theme of Hawaai deep blue FOWLR
We just finished setting it up ...see below video...also thanks to Carlos at Fishbowl for getting us a really nice skimmer and the back sand (fresh)
We have obviously also put in some 'regular stones ' for bacteria but we will at some point move those either to the back but the intention is to fully go black on black on black tank
As to Fish....well we agree that it HAS to have a Niger Trigger at least ...but after that we are discussing it.(suggestions welcome!)
...for now ...as I am old school I am letting this baby cycle...
I have the intention on putting in a reef mat (I still contend that to be THE best management of waste tool out there)....
As always all are welcome to come visit and check our tanks and set up (we are now at 1 reef (2 years in) , 1 micro (aka the failed tank :) ...which is for quarantine and aptasia (yeah you heard right) as my Banded one (aka the unicorn) LOVES to eat aptasia more than finding pods!..., 1 micro with mostly zoa's and a very bossy goby :) 3 sweetwater ones ....2 betta ones (but not your average) and 1 our guppy tank (which we hope becomes a food source for our FOWLR at some point)....
So here the video of them all and then the FOWLR at the end :)

A Heniochus butterfly fish might look good with the black rock and sand.

Please feel free to post a pic or two of the chameleon tank - that looks pretty cool.

I have decided I will keep it with less fish...so my last addition will be an Angel of sorts ....not sure which one yet though....
