Soda is a million times better if you're outside the US. The sugar lobby here keeps the tariffs on imported cane high. Soft drink makers figure it's cheaper to use corn syrup in sodas. But in Mexico for instance, Coke uses sugar cane. A liter is like <70 cents. Good times.

Coke made in Mexico is no longer using cane sugar, they are going to start using corn syrup. Read this in the paper. I prefer Big Red, but I prefer Coke over Pepsi. Pepsi tastes like flat Coke to me.
