Found out I posted this on the wrong section earlier (buy/trade..):
I stopped by some lfs around Houston today, and surprised at some great deals and want to pass along:
Fishworld at Bellair & Synott: They just got in 120+ nice clams (crocea, maxima..) with only $19 for a 3" size and $29 for a 4"+ size with so many of them to choose from. I think no one could beat those prices! I ended up getting two of them - wish I have had more money
. If you're into clams, you must check it out - some of them have very nice colors - and i got the best two
They also got 50+ wrasses - all kind of wrasses - some of them I never seen in lfs around here! Will come back to get some when I got more cash tomorrow.
City Pets at Belt 8 & Beechnut: saw some nice zoo frags (~1" - 2" sizes) with various colors: orange center w/ green rim, purple rim, bright green centers, blue etc.. and it's only $ 4.99/ frag!!! (these frags are in the tank way back inthe coral tank section). Got 5 of those frags w/ nice colors I was temped to buy a bunch more of them and maybe sell them back for $10 later on this board since zoo's are hot recently There are some nice size zoo colonies (5"+) with red or orange center for only $50. Also see a bunch of green nudibranches (eat algea, flatworms?) in their clam tank too
Global at Gessner & Bellaire: saw some nice sps frags in their frag tank: green bali slimer, bright orange monti cap frags, etc.. but not sure of the prices.
