Hello everyone. Im new here and to saltwater. I have kept fresh water aquariums for many years and still do but now my wife and I are going to make the jump to saltwater. I was fortunate enough to come across a set up for $80 and let me tell you it was a steal. I almost felt bad to pay so little. We got a 30 gal oceanic cube with stand, a prime 1/15 hp chiller, fluvol 205, several power heds, a coralife 95 watt quad aqualight, and what i think to be a hang on the back sump/ filter with built in protein skimmer. everythink is in like new condition. So all I have to do now is add sand rock and cycle.lol I would like to chronicle my experance here if you guys would like to see. This is gong to be a far stretch from rasing discus. I will post some pictures later this evening to show everything. I will more than likely be asking many questions.

If I were you, I would convert my 110 to salt..You cant really stock much with a 30g and eventually you will want a bigger tank...If you're married, you definately want 110 cause it'll be a hassle to convince her later.. :D

I upgraded from 55 gal to 133 within 5 months of starting.
you can stick with your current setup if you just plan on adding a few fish and mostly corals. there are many here who have wonderful nano systems. check out that forum.

your tank can hold:
dwarf angels (no corals though)
fire gobies
blennies
clown fish
not all at a time though, too much bio-load

you will have to watch that angel with your corals, I want a dwarf angel however, they sometimes nip at corals, but it's hit or miss.
your selection sounds fine. but thats as far as i would go, (bioload).

Those bulbs alone would cost more than 1/2 of your entire setup. $40-50.
Welcome to the money pit. :)
