Hello! Brand spanking newbie here. I live in southwest Houston currently in Sugar Land but moving to a condo in Rice Village (West University) and have decided that I want to furnish my new condo with my very first marine aquarium! I have been websurfing like an addict researching everything and anything concerning marine tanks and that is how I found this site. One quick question I have is if anyone can refer me to a good LFS in the area that is cheap and helpful to newbies in the hobby. I plan to setup a 50-100G tank.

Welcome!
I've got to say members here on the forum will give a deal that is hard to beat. Simply because it is usually used and in good shape.
You will soon find out how sharing is a very important part of the hobby if you are on a budget.
Good luck!

cheap will be City Pets on Beechnut/Beltway 8-cheap collection of softies and zoas..

Helpful would be TnT on Bellaire/highway 6-nice collection of sps and good advice from the TnT crew---Raymond, Q, and Paul

Closet to Rice would be Fish Gallery on Kirby/59S--been there a few times, never gotten any help from the crew but they have some nice tanks though.

Cant go wrong with any, they're all marshreef sponsors..
