How high to post a frag light (1 Viewer)

the mh im using is a 175 watt MH. The frag tank is 24 x 24 x 8. I built the cabinet to hold the light and can screw it into the wall at any height. I was thinking putting its 12-18 inches off the water but I would love some input on it. Thanks.

I would eyeball it, hold the light up above your frag tank and try to get as much light focused over the frag tank as possible and mount it there.

Borrow a Par meter. Reflectors and bulbs are not created equal.

Yea the Par meter has a list but it hasnt been updated in a while
