Actually those are all really good shots. The only suggestion I'd make is to adjust your white balance. Everything has a bit of a pink/red tinge to it.
Otherwise everything is focused pretty well, you don't have a lot of distortion. Great job.

Ok.....so I know how to adjust the white balance....but exactly what adjustments do you think I need to make?

Under the W/B setting there should be a calibrate option. If there is point your camera to some thing white/or gray in your tank and hit calibrate. This will set the W/B so you pics do not have the pink look to them. If you do not have a calibrate option you just have to play around with the settings. Good luck

Happy pic tanking

calibrate

I know I do have the calibrate option......my sand is white.....should I use that to calibrate it....or should I just stick a white piece of plastic in the tank, use that to calibrate it, and then take it out and start shooting?

I usually use the sandbed if there is one. Another cheap way to calibrate your WB in different settings is to take one of the white opaque pringles can lids and put it over your lens. Hit the button, and it should be pretty much on target. Right after I found out about this trick pringles started putting clear lids on their cans. However there are off-brand cans of chips that have the same type of lid, not to mention other types of food that have the same thing.

You can take a white sheet of paper and just put it up against the glass of the tank you're shooting as well. Usually there's plenty of light spilling out for it to be essentially the same as putting something white inside the tank.
