I HAVE JUST STARTED TAKING SCUBA LESSONS WITH JUST FOR DIVERS. I REALLY ENJOY WORKING WITH THEN AND THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AS WELL AS VERY HELPFUL.

WANTED TO SEE WHERE MY MARSH MEMBERS WOULD SUGGEST THAT I GO TO FIRST - FOR MY FIRST OFFICIAL DIVE.

I WANT TO PLAN IT OUT NOW AND THAT WAY I AM READY TO GO. AS WELL I AM TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE OR A GROUP THAT IS LOOKING FOR A SCUBA BUDDY.

A really nice easy place is Bonaire if you have a buddy to go with you. If you are interested in doing some local diving and need a buddy, just PM me... I am always up for diving.

ya denis is a really cool guy and so is bobby. i know they take a yearly trip to cozumel. you might want to check and see when that is

Dive

If your looking for somewhat local and lower cost first trip, maybe a weekend trip, contact American Technical Dive Center on South Padre Island- Dive a rig and the Texas Clipper. You may need to get your deep diver cert, but keep in mind you can get it done while there.

Look into the "Dive around Texas" program, if your looking for interstate, routine dives.

Other than that Bonaire, Roatan, Beleize are all the BOMB! Puerto Vallarta (Pacific) was a waste of money for a dive trip--except for seeing a 7' Green Moray Eel during a night dive.

Dennis does a clipper dive also. I like Lee alot too. They are a great group of instructors. My fiance just finished her open water dive up at the blue lagoon this past weekend. Our honeymoon is in two weeks and we are really looking forward to diving in Jamaica. If you need a buddy you can call us too, our best friend is also certified (well about to be, he finishes his training with Dennis next weekend).

Puncak, did you end up going to the lagoon? Is that the closest dive place in Houston? Any other day trip dives in the area?

The closest to houston is 288 lake, near 288 and beltway 8.
