ok guys here it is.

either way i am going to have 24" long 130W pc lighting.

The question is should i use a 15 or 20 gallon. of course the lighting would be stronger in the 15 but still pretty good in the 20. what would yall chose???? Pretty soon I will have my tank setup journal for yall to see. about a week till then

Thanks again guys

I have a 20 so of course im going to say 20. It will give you lil more room for fish as well + more stability + more room.

Do they even make a 15 that is 24" long? I know the 20 gallon high is 24" long so that would be my suggestion. Shane makes a good point about being a little more stable...5 gallons can make a difference in a small tank.

a 20L. its shallow so your light will get better penatration.

Id also say go with the 20L. You'll be happy you have that 5 extra gallons in the long run. Also a good deal with the extra light penetration since its so short.

a 20 long is 30 inches long so you will end up with dark areas unless you raise the light up high enough to cover the entire area.......

about 3inchs from the surface and you will be alright. I had the JEBO 110watt pc lights sitting right on top my 20L and there wasnt to bad of dark spots. the mushrooms liked it.

i already have the tanks, it is the standard sizes not 20 long. but i guess either way still five extra gallons would be better. 130Watts would be effictient. i want to be able to throw in a variety of corals.
