So I've been gone for awhile but I wanted to know have LEDs proven themselves yet. I want to go with 3 AI Hydra 52s over my 180. Most likely going to be some softies but mainly LPS with a few easy SPS. I had t5's but I want to go in a different direction...plus the ballast crapped out on me.

It seems like the general consensus is that LED's are not just a fad, they are here to stay. The penetration that is being achieved, coupled with the long term cost savings seem to be adding up to a better and better lighting experience.
