It will be at least 2008 befor the Texans are any good new defense from 3-4 to 4-3 dont have right people for the new system hence Mario was drafted but he aint enough.
Dont be surprised next year when they draft Adrian Peterson from Okolohoma next year with the first pick. Which will alos slow the defence as well unless the get some good free agents.
It will take time but the have a quality coach now will take him at least 3 years so stick it out.
With that being said go Cowboys.

Texans?
They need an Offensive Line! Carr is good enough to do his job if he just had a line. I cain't believe they let Casserly make the picks he did and then leave, they should have picked Bush or Young and then turnaround and traded them for three to four good OL men. Everyone on the team needs to give a 100%, get rid of the slackers, they get paid to much to give less than 100%.

They lack passion, on paper they can win, Carr needs to pull something out of his butt, make it happen, all the greats make things happen Carr need the confidence to do that.

Casserly did NOT make the pick it has been common knowledge that he was leaving the team since the time Kubiac was selected as the head coach they knew he was leaving the team. The team was being nice letting him resign. He was hoping to get a position in the NFL front office in New York but when that job didnt go through he setteled for CBS i think it is CBS but he works for one of the networks now. The pick was made becouse Bush wanted more money than the Texans wanted to give. Isn't it funny he wanted more the texans called him on it and them he got less money than the texans were offering with the saints really smart there.
Mario isn't a terible pick just that they could have got more buy trading down to 4th and probally still got him. Traded with jets to 4th the jets pick bush with one, then the saints say they would have taken aj hawke if you believe that or not ???, young still to titans at three and the texans still could have got williams at four with an extra 2nd rd pick and a 4th which is what jets were offering.
I think it will work out for them.
