This stuff appeared on my dept's shelves 2 weeks ago. A bucket of "Fiji Live Mud" for $80. Has anyone heard of this before? I will get details on it in a few minutes.

Sorry got busy couldn't respond. Basically it's a bucket of 12 lb's of "Live Fiji Mud" by Walt Smith.

http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=15435

"Walt Smith's reef mud feeds your reef aquarium the essential minerals and nutrients. Natural ocean mud from the islands of Fiji in the South Pacific feeds and nourishes your hard or soft corals. Contains naturally-occurring major and minor trace elements. The mud is also rich with a multitude of 5 to 100 micron-sized organisms that benefit Acropora and other small polyp stony corals."

Is this worth the money? Is there something that does the same thing for cheaper I mean, this seems pricey for something that won't be shown to me, but that's why I'm asking here because I just don't know. I don't like to recommend products that I have no knowledge or feedback on.
