So what’s the best gift y’all gave this year? I got my 3 year old nephew his first lego set and he was all about it! It’s a big block airport tower. He builds it, smashes it with his dinosaur, rebuilds it, then smashes it again!

my kid made out like a bandit... 2 callaway golf clubs and a ps5 from santa. I gave him clothes and underwear. Im glad the gift giving thing is over, its very stressful cause i never know what to give.

We had one of those Shutterfly books made with pictures from our Alaska trip to give to our son's father-in-law who went with us. It came out pretty cool - we sort of wish we had another one made for us. Unfortunately, we have not been able to give it to him yet - our son came down with COVID so we haven't gotten together with that part of the family.

Had a good Christmas with family, best gift for me was my big kid coming home on leave for a few weeks. If were talking tank stuff, then it was my new water sensor alarm.....I've been known to forget to set a timer a time or two on the smaller tank when Im topping off the ato reservoir 🤷‍♀️

It's nothing fancy, but its effective! It's a water alarm from The Watchdog. Battery powered. I tend to over fill my reservoir on my smaller tank because I forget to set a timer. Now that we have new flooring I needed some back up. I Simply put it on the bottom of my cabinet and should either of those two sensors on the bottom detect water it emits a loud alarm. Because it doesn't need to be plugged in I can move it between tanks if I need to as well.

Funny story. So I have multiple of those. A couple years back, this head piercing siren starts going off, and because my living area is open, I can’t locate where it’s coming from. I ripped every damn smoke alarm I could find off the wall. After about 45 minutes, I remembered the alarm on the back side of my stand. The skimmer had splashed a little water overboard.

I had a great Christmas! New cowboy boots and a CB yellow tang to grow out for a friend (he was worried cause it was smaller than anticipated, it has a happy and appropriate home for later!). I also got a pair of black storm clowns!! I know I’m gonna name one Moo, taking suggestions for the other :)
