Here are the pics of the tank. I went to village today and got some stuff... :D what i got today was a pair of rainford gobies, a small queen conch, very small emerald crab, and two nassarius snails (sp?)

Man I so forgot to take some pictures....

But today I went ahead and did a few mods on the nano...

I notice that the tempature fluxation on the tank would swing between 80 and 85 so I had to do a few changes. With the advice of SeanB and Niko5 I went ahead and bought some new fans:

Sunon 50x50x10mm rated at 13.3CFM, 32dBA, 5500RPM. (Purchased at Fry's since they were the only place I could find them localy prics 7.99)

Not sure what the stock was rated at because it didn't say.

Anyway besides that I rearrange some of the wiring, ported out some slits and cut off a 3" piece of the reflector to allow more air to flow to the back side of the modifed reflector that Sean and Nick worked on.

With this simple mod I have noticed a difference between the stock and new fans. Hopefully this will help with some of the heating problems. If not I will have to think about something else.

Well have a happy Thanksgiving all... I will post more updates along the way.

Mike

Something I thought to be funny....

Mike, the tank is looking great. I am going to have to get me some of those fans. I am not sure how I am going to retro them into my pico, but it has to be done. Keep the pics coming.

Mike,

Looking great! How do you keep it so algae free?

Thanks for the comments.

Uhhh.... man I am surprised myself...

Well I have as cleaners:

1-astrea snail
3-margarita snails
1-cowrie
1-emerald crab
5 or 6-blue leg hermits

and probly other things I have no idea I have. I also do about a 1G water change every week, since I do not have a skimmer or surface skimmer so I try to get that out as much as I can. I do find myself cleaning the glass almost everyday... just a habbit.
