I really like what this guy on reef2reef has done with his monti caps. I tried contacting him without success. Do you know what monti is on the right?

Also, is there a noticeable difference between a purple monti cap and the idaho grape monti?

Looks like a green with purple rim cap. Idaho grape tends to have a different upwards growth pattern, but thats gonna vary from tank to tank also.

I agree with above. Could be a leng sy montipora clone. I would still like to have some. If your looking to trade montipora let me know. I'm always cutting back some of the 14 different species I have.
