Thought I would post this in here not only to share but also for myself. I have had this biocube set up in the past but it has been at least a year. I have only done a couple mods to the tank.
1) adding a maxijet 1200 return pump
2) super gluing two plastic parts I found on a vacuum to prevent fish from jumping. I honestly will have to take a picture when I get home. This had to be the most lucky find in the world. THey fit perfect and I mean perfect!!!
I guess I will start by showing what the tank look liked when I used to have it set up.
I think the major difference this time around is the fact im started with marco rocks. I like the idea of having a fresh start. I love the life that comes in live rock but i love not having to deal with pests even more.
Not sure if i am going to add any fish this time around but only time will tell.
this is the tank as it is set up now. its been up for about 4-5 weeks now and i just started my cycle two days ago.
I think once the tank cycles i am going to remove the top rock. As of now though thats how it sits. If you have any questions or comments fire away.
thanks and i hope to be adding a lot of pictures as things come along.
