How did you get them to stay? I'm assuming atleast 1/2" thick? I have problems with 2 of them on 3/8" acrylic.

Nothing special; it just stuck like they normally do. I called and talked to Ecotech and they said to make sure and use the attachment brackets and to expect the pump to have a shortened lifespan due to having to work harder.

I've got them on the back wall of my 180. Great little pumps (just like their big brothers) and should work OK. Not sure if your sand will stay in place though....may have to go bare bottom.

That's right. You do have them on the back wall. They may be a little too much for this tank. To bad they don't make an MP5. :D

Thanks Rush. Not really going to be a frag tank. Just a little softy/LPS tank next to the couch. Can never have too many tanks right? LOL

Today is day 9 of my cycle. I had 0.25ppm of ammonia in the tank yesterday so hopefully I should be at 0 ppm today. My nitrites don't seem to be falling on their own. First round my ammonia hit 0 ppm and my nitrites were sitting at 2 ppm. I did an 80% water change which brought them down to almost 0 ppm. I dosed my second round of ammonia and watched it go from 2.0 ppm down to where its at now around 0.25 in just a couple days. But again my nitrites are sitting at 2 ppm. If I'm at 0 ammonia tonight I'll do another water change to get my nitrites down. Then I'll slowly start adding livestock. Will probably start with a small Citrinis Clown Goby first and see how it does.

Well my cycle is officially over (as of wednesday). Last night I stopped by FJW and picked up my first inhabitants. I bought 3 bumble bee snails, 2 blue leg crabs, and a Yasha Goby w/Banded Pistol Shrimp pair. The Yasha and Pistol went straight under a rock down in the sand. They haven't come out since. The Bumbles and blue legs are cruising around though. I'll give it a couple days and then add a catalina goby pair. I've got a few small LPS frags I may throw in there also this weekend. Just trying to take it slow.
