finally got my rubbermaid tank and the last little bit of my livestock moved over to my house (two fish and some inverts). i also spent pretty much the whole weekend shopping for a dining room table and upgrading my blog to a new platform (and i have my own forum!!!). and my wife decided to get a custom made dining set from basset =*(. at least there will be enough room left in the dining room for my tank, whenever that happens.

They are all great rxtrs, I'd love to find a deal on one.

...and I just DID. I will be setting up my 618 (it may be the old 612?) next week when my buddy in NE sends it down.

Tas, I see what you're saying and it makes sense; you can make a reactor run pretty much any size tank you want... It will just depend how often you are tearing down for media replacement. I don't really see how to rate by tank size anyway though, guys with huge tanks and frags still will not have the demand that a more modest tank size with a 5 fold volume of sps colonies will have.

you may have already committed, but I'd highly recommend EG Amish Furniture in clear lake. We placed another order with them yesterday, and we got our dining room set from them (solid cherry, cheaper than what a number of the big name stores offered for better quality product).

yeah mike, i'm making progress at a snail's pace. i have a calcium reactor and that's about it.

i have settled on a tank and i should be ordering it soon. it will be 72x30x20 rimless, starphire, external overflow box, black silicone, made by AGE. i've just been waiting patiently as we get our house ready. we're gonna paint and add hard flooring in the dining room, where the tank will go.

Doin thehardwood floor yourself? I've done a few houses and can give you a little hand. You already know, good thing to get everything your set-up is gonna need upfront, it's harder to fix it up later.
