Hello all: I figured there are a lot of really pro photographers here so I'd ask you all for advice.

I'm thinking of buying a camera for my Fiancee as a anniversary gift...I know she wants a camera that can shoot 1080p video and have a good zoom (optical preferred), while not being too big of a camera.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good point and shoot that's not too pricey that fits the above criteria?

Thanks!

I have been happy with my Olympus Tough TG-820. 5X optical zoom, 1080p video, supposedly can survive being dropped from 6 feet, and can go under water. I have used it snorkeling, and it sometimes gets better pictures in my tanks than my fancy macro lens since I don't have to shoot through the glass. I think it was about $300, but that was last year so it may be less now.
