I need some help. I have a Tunze 6060 powerhead that doesen't want to come on after i unplug it. I think maybe the empeller is stuck or something, because when I tap it with something, it comes on for just a bit and then stops. I don't know how to take out the empeller to clean it or see if something is broken inside. If anyone knows how to take them apart please let me know.

Hi, Carlos.
I have a 6060 also, but the impeller has never gotten stuck. To remove the impeller, you need to take off the top mounting bracket and then rotate the housing around the impeller. It should come off and then you just pull out the impeller.

Before you remove the impeller, you might consider just soaking the whole pump in a bucket with some vinegar overnight. There might be some calcium buildup around the shaft and the vinegar will dissolve that. The run the pump in vinegar for a day.
