have read a lot about the imprtance of QT tanks... and plan to heed that advice.
have a 5.5 gal setup (with an AquaClear 50) for my BC29. filter media from the AC50's in the sump right now.
rest of the gear will be here today from MarineDepot - light, thermo, heater, etc

here's the question...
regular fish = no problem -> acclimate, watch, feed fish-food
what about algae grazers like blennies?
how/what do you feed them while in QT?

cheers...

i would get a food clip and then you can just get the prepared algae with garlic and that will also help with the help. sometime they will usually take flake food that sinks and it will be easy to find due to the bare bottom. i have been running a qt for a while because i had a horrendous ick outbreak and needed to get it taken care of but still had a massive die off...good luck

Hi, LogansRunRX.
What I do when I've QT'd herbivores was put some chaeto in there. The tangs, rabbitfish, lawnmower blennies, etc usually went for that nicely. Galvezsurfer's idea about the prepared algae will work also. Nori from the grocery store also will work.

good luck,
Steve
