I have a very old oceanic light fixture with a Speactrum V 36" 30W bulb installed. There is no part number, the ballast does not have any description, but it works. Can any one tell me if I can snap a UVL 36 Inch T12 Standard Super Actinic Bulb (30 Watts) in there?

If the old bulb is the same wattage as the new bulb - I see no harm in that.
