I have three Radion XR30w Gen 1 fixtures mounted in a custom wooden canopy approximately 9" above the waterline. The canopy has no back, for return lines and equipment. The canopy also has two high flow 120mm fans mounted below the Radions that pull air in from outside the canopy to assist in ventilation and cool off the tank. All three units worked flawlessly in this manner for over a year. On 05/31/2013 all three units were replaced (invoice #136763) due to a fan malfunction with one of the units. I spoke with Alex Young with Ecotech, who was a great help! Alex advised there was a known problem/redesign with the original fans and had all three of my units replaced via the SEP program, at no expence to me, to ensure there would be no further fan problems with the units. Once I received the new fixtures and installed them they worked great for approximately a month. Now all three units, installed as listed above, shut off halfway through their programmed schedule. The fixtures were programmed using ESL with windows 7 and Google Chrome. I am using the shallow reef mode at 55% brightness. The units are setup with a traveling sunrise/sunset with a one hour offset along with the ecosmart participation enabled. The units were factory reset several times and firmware confirmed to be up to date. All three ballast have steady and solid green lights. All three units were plugged into different ballast to confirm the ballast were not the problem. When the fixtures shut off the indicator lights on top of the units are flashing Red & Teal or Red, Green and Blue, hard to tell due to the close proximity of the lights. From what I've read this is either a driver overtemp error or a hardware issue. I am unsure if the issue is with one fixture or all three being they are programmed in a group and connected wirelessly. The lights will turn back on if disconnected and reconnected from power but turn back off after about 10-15 minutes of operation. I have attempted to contact Ecotech today but alas they are gone for the day/weekend. They have great customer service and I know they will get back to me, but in the meantime I was hoping someone elese may have experienced this problem and possibly have a solution. Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike
