Just have to chisel them out of the rocks! I got two when we went, one is doing very well. The other disappeared behind my rocks.

Yes. We got ours when we were looking for peppermint shrimp and stuff out on the jetties by the Rainforest Cafe.

Almost went for the first time tonight, bought nets and everything, wife took to long at a spa party, ERRR.

Galveston's Anemone's touchable or sting? I'd like a couple, just not sure I wanna run around out there with rubber gloves on. I guess I could take some just incase.

they dont sting so no worries =). something to scrape them off the rocks would be the thing to pack if you cant pull them off with your fingers. just dont butcher the foot too much.

I got about 7 today, they all were on one small rock so we just brought the rock (smaller than a softball) put the rock in my sons tank and the one that ended up stuck to my bucket in to my 72gl. It was around 2:00 so all we got was about 10 small naked goby's. Just dipped and dragged net against the side of the rocks, easy. But I want some Peps, soon. And 1 sargeant major damsel, also went in the sons tank.

they are all over between the rocks, look like barnacles during the day, covered with crushed shells. I found a small removeable rock with about 7 of them and took the rock, one came off and stuck to the bucket. very hard to get off the bucket, didn't even bother trying to get one off the rocks, they didn't budge and shrink up really flat.

You'll get splashed a little, but if you are just looking for a loose rock with anemone's then you should stay dry, this was our first time out, so we were looking for everything for a couple hours.
