Since my current tank is small it's always been easy to just buy water from the LFS. I'm upgrading to a larger tank so it's time to buy a RODI unit.

If I'm not mistaken COH uses chloramines in the water. With that said - do I need to buy a RODI system that removes chloramines or is the standard RODI units just fine?

Examples:
Chloramine system: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/75-gpd-ro-di-5-stage-chloramines-plus-system.html

Regular system: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/75-gpd-ro-di-5-stage-plus-system.html

The unit itself doesn't matter, you just need to get the right carbon filter that removes chloramines. They are more expensive than just the regular carbon filter. Other than that just compare features on different units and get the one that's best for you.

Certainly talk to Russ at Buckeye Field Supply, one of our sponsors. He will give you personal attention and make sure you get a good system for what you need. Look him up in the Sponsors section.
