I just got a T5 48 inch 4X54watt fixture. Do you guys think this will be good for a 72 bow? Im keeping moslty SPS with some softies and LPS

Depends on the fixture and the bulbs in it. Sounds about right though.

It really depends on the depth. I'm going with a 6x54w 48" t5 fixture over my 100g tank for some serious overkill lighting, but my tank is only 18 inches tall.

Alright cool. I picked up a brand new wavepoint fixture. (There a new product) I couldnt pass up the deal though. It was only 250. Each bulb has an individual reflector and it came with two 12k bulbs and two super actnic bulbs. They have a pink coral accelorator growth bulb that I would like to change out from one of the 12k. What do guys think? If you wanna check out the fixture marinedepot.com sells them...

4x54watt t5s will be enough for the bowfront. I run that setup (but a retro) and I havent had a problem keeping anything. sounds like you might not like the bulb combo from the specs you posted, but you can always change that later

Well I do like the light actually. The only thing that I dont like is that I cant turn on/off just the actinics. The hole system turns on. But I was actually thinking maybe I could find just a single T5 fixture with a super blue actnic and regulate that through the day.

The reason for me changing the bulbs is, One I want to change to geissman, but wave point actually makes "coral accelorator bulb"? Its more of a purple color. I dont know if this would be a good combo or not. 12k,aquablue,purple accelorator, aquablue.
