My home-made refugium sump with chiller box for insurance against those hot days of summer.
also, made my own sock filter to go with it.

Bro, that's the smalest CTC I ever saw.
And you have to ditch the BL can and start living the High life with Miller.
Nice setup!

CTC= coast to coast.

Its not a bad tank. it is easy to scratch though! got some subtrate in between the cleaning magnets on accident and did place a very thin scatch on the inner surface. the tape deck case mod into an overflow box was a good idea. I really like the elevated bottom of the tank. the stock protein skimmer isnt bad for the tank. I just wanted unique and so I went with the gnome glass skimmer and it does work! I did alot of thinking ahead when I built this tank. I knew that temperature would be a pain to maintain for such a small volume of water. So, I opted for controller function using a RKE with temp probe and a descent pico heater and a probe chiller to maintain the temperature without large temp changes from occurring. some ways, I wish I had the return line lower to promote a better circulation. over, no regrets with the tank itself...
