Since some of you last saw it, I've gotten almost all the plumbing and wiring done in the stand for my new 265. Pics are located at:

http://www.wildfire-tech.com/~matt/tank/250g/gen_index.php?root=pictures&path=/

I've got the closed loop built (resting atop the stand) and the majority of the plumbing distribution system built. I've also run the lights (3 on one circuit, 1 "emergency light" on the UPS) and 2 of the 3 total power strips.

I also have some beginning pictures of the sump that niko5 baffled up for me. Let me know if I'm missing anything!!!

Also, am still looking for 2 - 4 able bodies persons to help me get the tank up onto the stand, so I can do a "wet" test in the garage....

HELP?!

Update:

Thanks to Scott L, Nathan, David, and Nick who came by on Sunday to help me hoist the beast. Also, a SPECIAL thanks to Keith Gay (of Aquatic Designs) for his expertise and assistance with this project. We couldn't have done it without your help!

I am wet testing the seals (bulkheads) tonight. It is about 3/4 full. The last two fittings for my closed loop are "on the way" (from the supplier).

I split (literally) a 1" bulkhead screwing a fitting into it (ble the seam clear up to the flange). Other than that..... I've got a VERY SMALL leak over my sump. Trying to figure out how fast that leak is, and if I can live with it (since it drips into my sump, no harm no foul right :D )

I also found out something which I DIDN'T plan for.... Does anyone else have a Dolphin Amp Master pump? Is the power cord like 18" on yours? I'm going to have to run an extension cord for my AM3000 so that I can have a drip loop...... :-x
