JBJ have a rep on most nano sites for cracking. other than that I love nanos. Im about to setup a 2.5 in my office for a mantis.

i have read that, and also that the new ones have thicker glass. but any others that are simple plug and play with little mods. trying to keep it simple for work; that will support mini-reef?

well I took a mini bow and a small HOB filter and a 18 watt light for my 2.5. Not much to that. There is some one on here who has a nice tank predrilled they might be willing to sale.

2.5g seems simple. but i am old and my eyes are bad. the boss would get mad seeing me with my nose pressed against the tank looking for things... but thank you for the info.

I also have heard about the problems with the 24 but I must have gotten lucky. No problems at all in the year I've had mine. There are better systems but not in the same price range. If you decide to get one let me know, there are a few minor must do upgrades like replacing the stock pump, adding a protein skimmer and cutting down the sponge in the first chamber.

Good luck!
