Looking for 1" threaded unions, haven't seen them at the usual suspects (Lowes, etc).

I know I can order them but would like to find them local.

Can't say I've ever seen a threaded union. Seen threaded true union ball valves, but never just a union.

You may try Tractor Supply. They have some unions and ball valves. I can't remember if they are threaded though.

Picked mine up at home depot. You should not have a problem finding them. You need to look on the isle that has all of the sprinkler heads and parts on it. Should be near the pre cut, threaded, gray schedual 80 pipe.

Home Depot off 45 north in the woodlands/conroe has them.
Thats the only kind they have right now, I was trying to find a slip one and had to go to Sears Hardware instead to get it.
