Ya know I haven't really been a huge fan of the $uper bowel over the past few years, but I always watch most of it for nostalgia sake. Then today I read this article and I think this pretty much shut it down for me. I always knew they were money hungry but never this bad. I guess it all breaks down to a matter of can versus should. Can the NFL enforce their license protections which, yes, specify a screen less than 55"? Sure. Should they do so? Not if they value their customer base. Link to article.
Exerts from the article said:...Initially, the league objected to the church's plan to charge a fee to attend and that the church used the license-protected words "Super Bowl" in its promotions....But the NFL objected to the church's plans to use a projector to show the game, saying the law limits it to one TV no bigger than 55 inches....
