the 2.5 just wasn't enough. so, 7 might be... i really like the 7, it's glass, black silicone, and easy to clean and move stuff around with my big hands. my little 2.5 was nicely stocked and now this 7 gallon looks empty. anyone have some nice frags? i'm tired of making the lfs circut, i will probably be more in the mood next week  , but in the meantime, if anyone has some frags they think would look cool in here please let me know. i currently have 58 watts of pc on it, an aquaclear refugium, a penguin mini with charcoal, and a 50 watt heater. i am thinking a 70 watt mh with a 14k bulb is in order, man i love that shimmer on the sand bed.

I love how you have your rocks placed with lots of little hidey holes. That looks cool.

I still have a few zoas left if you want some :D

It would be nearly impossible to determine the size of the tank in your picture if the zoanthids weren't there to show just how tiny those little clowns really are!

Nice aquascaping! You're not going to blast your nano with 150 watts of MH? :D

Karen's clownfish are so freakin' cute. We actually got them for the big (70g) tank, but our existing clowns wanted nothing to do with them. So... we were stuck with these fish and no place to put them, so that sped up our desire to upgrade to the 7 gallon (like, three hours later we were at the LFS buying the new tank and building a fuge). Next thing you know, they'll outgrow that too and we'll end up having to set the 29g back up.

Oh, sure.........make up any ole excuse to set up another tank, it's okay. We understand your addiction...........and sadly, we support it. :D

cakepro- i am oh so tempted to put that 150 on it.... but we did find a nice 62 watt pc hood with moon lights for $110, and it's only 17" long. do you still have a frag of uber green star polyps for me to carpet the 36" bookshelf aquarium with? i just picked it up today. it's awesome. 36x8x10 fits right on top of my desk. i'll start a new thread when i get time to take some more pics.

karen- this is all your fault, thank you. i don't rmember the zoos very well, i kinda remember them being ppe's?? thank you for the offer, i will gladly accept them. maybe we can meet up at the next marsh meeting in november?

I sure do...let me know when you want to come by to get the star polyps. Point a PH at them and they're spread pretty rapidly.

starting to fill in, and the clowns are growing so quickly.

yes, those are dash lights from autozone. cheaper and you can really place the light where you want it without taking up too much space.

this is what the light really looks like in person. not too bright and well spread out as there is a diffuser built in to it.
