We are looking for a place to spend our first vacation in five years. Just the two of us! Beaches and mountains wanted, exotic and romantic and anywhere not the typical tourist trap. I'm looking for suggestions and hoping some of the places I'm thinking about are recommened by people who have been there.

Fiji is amazing if you dont mind the flight!
Wonderful people, wonderful diving, great locale.

Its a very get away from it all location.

Bora Bora. It is really amazing. I believe it is considered the most beautiful place on earth!!! You can find some good package deals online.

When my wife and I went to Lake Tahoe when we got married back in July and that place is great, plenty of things to do there. And if you get bored could always go to Harveys Resort and Casino and gamble.

hawaii...beaches and mountains. went there on my honeymoon, very gorgeous. you can also dive almost anywhere and see some sea turtles.

maui is one of the better islands to go to in my opinion.

we loved Belize out on Ambergris Caye or Ive been wanting to try Costa Rica on the Pacific side, been hearing some great things about that.

Yes I have heard belieze is great, my cousins bought a resort down there a year ago but I havent had a chance to go there yet. you have to get to it by boat.

Costa Rica is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend it. Belize is nice as well.

Palau is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!
