What Tests do YOU Use? (1 Viewer)

I wanted to start a thread to see if there is an overwhelming test kit/brand that everyone is using. I was about to buy the Nutrafin master test kit but I wanted to do this first. I was using API but I don't care for those too much. For my Ph I'm just using my Hanna meter. I'll be usung my APEX when I get that. So here we go. Brand of test and used for what!

I use a combo lol. I love the seachem marine tests because they are SO EASY! But that is for basic stuff like nitrites ammonia and ph. I use the hanna checker ULR for phosphates and use Salifert for mag cal and dk. I will be getting other hanna checkers though, especially if they are as easy to use as the phosphate checker.

Will be upgrading to digital pH meter shortly aqnd purchasing a Hanna NO3 meter.

Wow I haven't looked at the Hanna checkers in awhile, they've been busy and have a bunch more now.

Yeah, the initial investment may be high but it's Bing bam boom and your done. Haven't looked to see how much refill/cleaner is. Talk about personal preference on the test question. Lol
