I already know that many people use the workhorse 7 (220watt PC ballast) for VHO. They run 2x110watt VHO instead.

My question though,is can i run a 24" 75 watt VHO's on a WorkHorse 5 or Workhorse 7? the workhorse 5 is 110watt, so would i be able to run (1) 75 watt VHO without a problem? and with the workhorse 7, possibly (3) 75 watt VHO's? and what about workhorse 3, i have a few of those and was wondering if it could handle 1 75watt bulb as well.

Thanks for any help if anyone knows.

I use the workhorse 7 to run 2 48" vho or 2 24" vho bulbs. You could possibly run the 3 24" bulbs but i think it would not be enough power to light them as bright as they should be. I don't think the workhorse ballasts fully light the 48" bulbs as bright as an icecap ballast does. You should be able to run the 24" bulbs on the wh5 but I am not sure of what the wh3 ballast can take. If it can handle a 75 watt load then it should be fine.
