Still not 100% where I want to mount apex equipment! The doser for sure is still up in the air with places where I want to mount which would be most accessible. Need to buy grommets does anyone have a place ?

Pp8 are on 30% still blowing super hard . I'm just saying I could of got away with pp4

Buy two of those pp4 units and substitute them out. You won't be more disappointed. The 8's are a significant jump, for some reason. Like I said before, I was running two 8's and a couple 4's to cover dead spots on a successful sps 40 breeder.

Cool I'm definitely copying that.

Do you have a screen to monitor or you will be using your phone?

Working with vinyl sucks!!! Luckily all the bubbles will be covered by controllers. I bout 651 vinyl matte black. I kind of want Grey background to match with the theme but it will have to do for now.

Running really well , has a slight hum to it. 2 pp8 are blowing at 30% pushing water pretty hard . I think 2 pp4 are enough . Pp8 are a bit of overkill

What kind of mode are you running your power heads on? I went with two qp-9 because they were very comparable to mp-10.

Sick tank build man! If you have time, I have a couple questions. Did you go with the two inch holes for your controller display? The plastic things you sprayed orange.

Also, did you consider getting some wire duct to hide all your wiring? It looks super clean and only asking because I’m literally planning the same type of build.

Yeah that stuff is hard to apply.

I'm thinking high gloss paint - it's way easier. :)

Thanks Stratos perfectly printed jebao controller cradles and matches my orange theme. Very sturdy, he also printed a holder for my tablet .

My next biggest step is cable management, now that it's all mostly set up. Waiting for my cable sleeves to come in .

I went with 1 1/2 and 2 inch grommet's. Had a few conversations with Josue (fishkeeper85) and David (Urban Aquatics) both are far more experienced in setting these up than myself. Originally I wanted less grommets but a 1 1/2 under each controller does make it easier for cable management.

I haven't had much time to give my wires some TLC . I'm also waiting for some cable management sleeves and straps to come in. Hopefully will be done by this week. The wiring is definitely alot more work than I thought. Planning the build for my controllers all I planned out we're positioning and not so much where I'll organize the wires since everyone will be behind the board. My wife told me if you want this clean set up need to get it all done right.
