Looks pretty sharp to me. Only thing that sticks out to me is the left flat rock on top. The angles look a bit weird to me but it might just look great once there are beautiful colonies all over it.

That flat rock is a separate piece, I figured it would be a good flat surface to place a couple of SPS colonies on top. Flipping it makes it a bit more level.

Maybe thats what is throwing me off about that side. I think because the rest is more that pukani style rock and the left pieces are a giant tonga branch and a flat rock.

That would be a good idea then to leave it be and placr the acro colonies on it as a good ledge.

Oooh yeah, I like that!

I agree. This look much better. The way you had it was throwing things off. Looks awesome!! Excellent job!

There is an art to doing rock work. My wife who does not really participate in the hobby has a nack for it. NOT ME

Same, I need to get better at it. I might get too more pieces today to see what else I can come up with. Thinking about picking up a Maxspect Gyre xf250 ro go along with my two MP40QDs.

Your tank is going to be awesome. If you get the gyre you will have to let me k is how you like it. I keep debating about getting one to add to my flow.

A few new developments! I decided to go ahead and pick up a Maxspect Gyre XF250 Pump and Controller today...and I am still leaning towards picking up a second XF250 pump that way I can run my two MP40s on the sides and the two XF250s on the back glass on either side of the over flow.

Other than that, I picked up another 30ish pounds of the Haitian rock and came up with the attached design.

You know I love my Ecotech MP pumps but after connecting the gyre 280 yesterday man this thing is awesome when it comes to moving water. I have mine set up at 30% and i can see ripples on the other side of 8 ft tank. I'm seriously thinking about getting a second one.

The rock work looks great. Did you get the rock from OLA? I don't see this type of rock locally that often.

I actually bought 170lbs of the Haitian rock from Urban Aquatics!

I am strongly leaning towards getting a second Gyre XF250 and placing both heads on either side of the overflow on the back wall and placing the 2 MP40s on the two sides.

With David you are in good hands. He's great when it comes to moving-setting up tanks.
