I personally couldn't leave one fish, let alone a whole tank full. Are you just leaving and hoping for the best? I would stay with a propane grill and a gas generator and pretend I was camping for the next week.
Not too much. 2000$ worth of SPS and maybe 2500 LPS and 1500 in fish. Most of the coral from frags to colonies over 7-8 years. But I also had a goat ranch with 25000 dollars worth of livestock I had to evacuate. Now we just hold our breath. Thats life it is all a big cra& shoot come on daddy needs 7 or 11.
Seriously. I need to work on my generator tomorrow. Just needs the carburetor cleaned out and new gas. I’ll make a hot shot over there and pick up livestock. I have plenty of room between myself and Steve. I have coral ready tanks and he has tanks set up to house fish.@paraletho have you already evacuated? I'm sure someone could house some of our livestock.
Looks like its swinging to the east, most of Houston just in tropical storm warning now. Galveston through Louisiana looks pretty screwed still though.Hurricane got upgraded to cat 4 y'all, no bueno.
I got my generator working, I stayed up all night just to be sure, and not a single drop of rain. I contacted folks in east Texas/west Louisiana and they're just drinking bud light at this moment. Not much else they can do.
I have room to house corals/fish if they need it! Please keep us posted. One of my good reefing buds is in LC. Another friend going to his house to relocate his coral etc to our tanks. I hope we can save them ..... electricity going to be out for awhile
Another had a complete loss
It’s bad guys

Anyone else in Montgomery county without power? I’ve had the generator running since about 1pm when they cut off the power. Luckily, I’ve got everything but my lights running, plus the refrigerator and a window unit for my house.
