    Love the build, it's a good planned build. Little late to raise the bottom trim around the tank's bottom plastic, I would put something to hide the bottom plastic just like the top is hidden under the canopy, maybe 1/4 round trim...

    Why not SOW15 for extra $5, you can always restrict the flow if needed but at least has the Horsepower for future. Any experience/feedback about the SLW series? They seem to have wider flow and around the same amount but more GPH.

    Which Model you are using and what size tank? I have been using smaller Jebao pumps with good success rate, got them used.

    I had the same problem, heat up a cup of water and put the hose end in the cup for less than a minute, then it will be flexible and slide in easily. I am also in the same area.
